On day two of the Camp Fire, some Adventist Health Employees as well as a handful of other volunteers joined forces with the East Avenue Community Church to serve over 230 medically fragile, elderly and disabled fire evacuees, many of whom started with little and now had nothing. It became clear that these evacuees had lost not only their homes, but also their access to medical care.

Medspire Health is a free mobile clinic that strives to alleviate the ongoing medical need in Butte County and the surrounding Camp fire affected areas. Our goal is to connect the individuals and families who are re-populating the Paradise, Magalia, Concow areas with primary care doctors and address their immediate non-emergency medical needs while being accessible at no cost.
Founded by a small team of Paradise, CA locals. Born and raised on the ridge, 90% of our team also worked as clinicians within the community. We bring with us a well rounded understanding of and personal commitment to people on the ridge. We hope not only to address the immediate medical needs of Magalia and Paradise residents by providing basic prescriptions, performing health screenings etc, but also to better gauge the ongoing needs of the community to prepare us for the opening of our mobile medical clinic.
